Hiking Mount Batur and relaxing in Nusa Lembongan

Hi guys!

Just a short update cause I need to catch my flight soon ;).  It's my last day in Bali! I'm flying to Singapore in couple of hours. The last two nights I've stayed in Legian. As soon as I arrived here I met some lovely girls and had an awesome party in Kuta (I recommend Alley cats for pre-party and the fancy Sky Garden for later ;) ). Yesterday we went for drinks in Seminyak. There are lots of beach bars with comfy chairs and live music. It was sooo chilled and nice. It's moments like that when I'm just thinking how lucky I am to be here!

While I was in Ubud I did the sunrise hike at Mount Batur, an active volcano nearby. I needed to get up at 2am and we started hiking at 3am. It took us about two hours to get to the top. We were served some breakfast there (they cooked the eggs by using the steam from the volcano!) and watched the sunrise. The view was amazing!

Between Ubud and Legian I also spent two nights at Nusa Lembongan. Its an island in the east of Bali. The beach was beautiful and snorkeling there was amazing! Saw so many fish and beautiful corals, It's quite quiet island, popular for couples... a perfect place to chill. It's quite expensive though compared to Bali so I wouldn't stay there longer than two nights. Apparently it's a popular spot for weddings.

20k hike in Berlin

Hi guys!

I haven't posted for a while! Mostly because my laptop is so slow and yet I haven't bought a new one... I'd also like to write about my and my sisters' trip to New York, but there are SO many pictures that I need more time to sort them out ;)

Today I went hiking here in Berlin. Berlin is flat like a pancake so it wasn't a challenging one, but so, so, sooo pretty! I hiked in Grünewald -forest and by the lakes. It was a 20k hike and I did it in 3,5 hours including four small breaks...I'm a fast walker :D! I walked from Nikolassee S bahn to Grünewald S Bahn, you can see the route here. It is the hike number three.

When I came home I rewarded myself with a hot bath and by cooking sweet potatoes with turkish yogurt and chopped paprika ;). I have to remember to stretch while watching Eurovision song contest ;) Go Finland!

Hiking trip to Saxon Switzerland national park

Hi guys!

Me and Ben did a small hiking trip to Saxon Switzerland this Saturday. The place was awesome! In case some of you wants to visit this beautiful national park as well (and I really recommend you to do it), here's some info.

We took a two hour train drive to Dresden on Friday night and stayed in a hotel called Tryp by Wyndham. We paid 60 € all together for one night. We didn't have that much time to look around in Dresden, but for what I saw, it's a very pretty city. You should check it out while you're there! On Saturday we took S1 (train) from the main train station to the national park. The trains go every hour or so. You can get out in many places, we chose to get out in Kurort Rathen, but on our way back to the city we caught the train back from Stadt Wehlen. There are many trails where to choose from, but since we wanted to see the medieval town, or what is left from it, and the Bastei rock formation and bridge, we simply chose the one that was leading us to "Bastei" direction ;).

There was some restaurants by the trail but we decided to eat in a small village near Stadt Wehlen S Bahn station before we took the ferry over the Elbe. We ate at Pasta Lucia where they make the pasta themselves. I paid 7 euros for my portion and OH MY GOSH how good it was! The best pasta I've ever eaten I must say...
