Aerial yoga, flour-free pizza, shopping and the itchy Berliners at gym.....

Hi guys!

Hope you had a lovely weekend! Mine started with going crazy at Lush buying lots and lots of different kinds of bath melts, bath bombs and bubble bars...we have a  bathtub now you see. I have to say that the people working at Lush are always super nice! They know a lot about all the products and they are very helpful. In the evening I watched Gravity with Ben. I wasn't too impressed. I think it would have been much better in 3D.

On Saturday Ben headed to his grandparents place to meet his relatives so I began my "single weekend". I tried Aerial yoga which was super fun! If you live in Berlin, you can try it out at Kulturbrauerei at Jangada for 15 €. It's worth every penny! After this I headed to Ku'ddam (shopping area) to look for a spring coat. If you have checked out my Fashiolista profile lately, you'll know what kind of coat I'm hunting for. Didn't find a coat, but I got few shirts and socks ;D. The hunt will continue... In the evening I wanted to try to cook a flour-free pizza base. The base was made out of cauliflower and even though it doesn't taste like a classic pizza it was very good and great alternative for the real thing :). See the recipe in English here and in Finnish here.

Aerial yoga looks something like this...stole the pic from here, sorry about that :p

The yummy flour-free, vegan, organic pizza ;)
On Sunday I treated myself with a massive breakfast before I headed to gym to complete one fourth of my 10000 kettlebell swings. Feelin like a supawomääääään! Now, today (again) I witnessed some strange behavior at the gym at the ladies sauna. Why are some women there so itchy!? There's women scratching their private parts like there's no tomorrow. Excuse me. Note that I am slightly exaggerating, but still. There's other weird behavior happening as well but I'll save you from that and won't go into details. Sorry for sharing this info with you guys but I'm just slightly annoyed 'cause there I am, drinking my water in the sauna and I get told off because of that...When I ask: "Why I cannot drink here?" the answer is: "Because you're not allowed to". Scratching yourself in public shouldn't be allowed to! Peace.

What do Berliners wear at Opera?

Hi Guys!

I hope you had a lovely weekend! My weekend's average was good, since yesterday was excellent and today a bit of a fail (including me going to yoga class that didn't start until 1,5 hours...). On Saturday we ate breakfast home. The day was sunny so we headed to an organic market at Kollwitzplatz. I wasn't sure if there was much going on since it is winter, but surprisingly there was still a lot of stuff to buy. I'm planning to go there again next Saturday to do my veggie shopping. After this I headed to gym, full of energy to fulfill my new year's resolution ;). In the evening Ben and me went to see opera: Mozart's "die Zauberföte" (The Magic Flute, Taikahuilu) at Staatsoper im Schiller Theater in Berlin.

My biggest concern on Saturday was: What do Berliners wear at opera? I asked Ben and the answer was "Fancy clothes". That's right, that's what I had seen in the movies too - fancy pancy women in long evening gowns holding a glass of wine on the other hand and those tiny opera binoculars on the other, preferably vintage (both the binoculars and the wine...). I only found a LBD (little black dress) which I normally just wear at work because the fabric is not that fancy. I accessorized it with Moschino belt, necklace and pair of black pumps. That would have to do.

At the opera I soon realized I wasn't under dressed. I should know better by now. One of the first ones I spotted after people had taken their jackets to the cloakroom was an older lady with round classes and bright purple quilted overall with some golden detailing. The fabric was something you'd use outside. So basically it was the same kind of skiing overall that Russian ladies use, maybe just not as warm. There was also people who had done it half way; a suit with sneakers or a blazer with leggings. Some people kind of had an idea what they should wear, for example this one woman who had chosen to wear an orange strapless beach maxi dress and underneath a sweater. There was also people who were wearing completely casual outfit and of course some were actually wearing fancy clothes (I saw this one lady...).

Anyways, the opera was great even though I didn't understand always what they were singing about (it was in German, you see). The plot is easy enough to understand anyways so I recommend it to all non-Germans as well :).

Laterss!

Haul video from Spain

Hi Guys!

So I filmed this Autumn haul/lookbook/whatever video in Spain a long time ago (ok technically it was my sister who filmed it) and also edited it while back. I wasn't sure if i want to post it but here I find myself posting it anyways :D aha! So me and my sister went shopping in Torrevieja and I went a bit crazy since normally I just buy all my stuff online. I wanted to try out all of them and film it so here you go ;).

Shoe issues

Hi guys!

So if anyone has followed me in Fashiolista lately, they'd know that I've been "loving" many of those black chunky heel ankle boots...At my work at Zalando I need to check our website and the products there couple of times a day and therefore I've found a bunch of those ankle boots also from our selection ;). Oh, and then I ordered them. Yup. So now I have three pairs of them here and I cannot decide which ones to keep. You'll see them in a sec, but just so you know, I don't get any commission or anything from linking to our site. I just buy most of my clothes from there so yeah, there you go ;).

Please help me to pick a pair :)

Sweatshirt obsession

Hi guys!

I'm a 90's kid and it's been fun to see the comeback of all the trends back from those days. Like crazy neon colours, pastels, denim, crop shirts, platform trainers... It's quite a weird feeling to wear stuff that you already once had started to think is ugly...I guess that's the circle of fashion. Once some trend is "overworn" it becomes ugly until it becomes trendy once again. I wouldn't go for the complete denim overalls with crop t-shirt with platform trainers -look though 'cause I'd feel like I was eight again. There's one 90's comeback trend I'm especially excited about... The sweatshirts! Especially the ones with Mickey Mouse or the ones with a head of an animal, haha :D. The one that I'm most obsessed about at the moment is slightly more subtle though...It's quitted and plain white. I could wear it every day... And here's a proof I almost have...
